Nozzle filler

Nozzle filler is a mixture of specific raw materials and it is placed in the nozzle of a ladle. The main goal is to achieve a higher level of free opening performance, close to 100%, guaranteeing the steel process flow, from ladle to tundish continuously, avoiding the nozzle clogging. Issues relating to poor opening rate typically are lack of productivity, by casting speed reduction, process interruption, and a production of non-clean steel, affecting its quality.
